Participating Schools and Organizations

Echo Horizon School

Culver City, CA

Echo Horizon School uses The Aerin Project to spread joy and empathy throughout its community, while also teaching students the important, fundamental skill of letter writing.

Windward School

Los Angeles, CA

Each year Windward School asks its graduating seniors to write encouraging letters to their classmates—much in the way Aerin did—to spread messages of friendship, support and joy. The letters can be read immediately, and also after they have parted ways for college and beyond.

The Skola

Whitefish, MT

“We are thrilled to be partnering with The Aerin Project! This project beautifully blends our intention toward bringing community connection into literacy. So often, we think these need to be separate when, in fact, they can be integrated for a true holistic learning experience,” said Brooke Ober, Educational Programs Director and Founder of The Skola.

The program will be woven into the Skola’s experiential, community-centered curriculum, giving students a chance to practice compassion and build social-emotional skills while connecting to the enduring spirit of Aerin’s letters.
